Dark brown colour with a little copper highlights, a light mocha-beige head, average stay and not much lacing. Chocolate, mild cacao powder over a roasted malt base with some vanilla notes. The mouthfeel is wet, slightly slick with enough dryness in the end. Chocolate, cacao flavours with the burnt barley lingering. Nothing offensive, but nothing too special.

Can sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Stas & zvikar. Black, tan frothy foam. Roast, chocolate, a bit stale and artificial, sweet, bitterish note, medium-bodied.

13/6/2020. Can from Beer Republic online store. Pours black with a large beige head. Aroma of vanilla pod, milk chocolate, sweet pasty, toffee, touch of dark and tropical fruits, with chocolate limes. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy texture, average to soft carbonation. Sweet doughy finish. Enjoyed this, it's good all round.

Közepes, tartós hab, fekete szín. Csokis, kakaós, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös illat. Csokis, kakaós, sütis, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös ízek, a zab jellegzetes aromáival. Leheletnyit édeskés, közepesen testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Nagyon finom sör, remek egyensúllyal. Folyékony csokis süti.

Can from Chez Ben. Opaque dark mahogany with a small dark khaki head that fades to a sheet leaving tight lace. Nose is milk chocolate, coffee, molasses, vanilla, roast nuts. Medium milk chocolate and molasses sweetness with a light+ coffee bitterness. Mouth is full and creamy with soft carbonation an a dry finish. Tasty. 9-/4//8/4+/16

Can: Poured a deep black color stout with a large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of smooth chocolate notes with some lactose notes is quite enticing. Taste is a nice mix of smooth rich chocolate notes with some sweet residual sugar notes. Body is full with super nice creamy smooth body with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Super nice chocolate beer with lower ABV then expected.

A deep dark stout with a thin dark brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with vanilla essence, light coffee, sweet and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light coffee, light Nutella, nice. Can at Mondial 2018.
