Bottle from De Hopduvel. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Nose of tart/sweet peach, citrus, malty. Lots of carbonation. Bitter, citrus peel. Ok beer.

One of Vliegende Paard's new fruit and vegetable beers, this one with peach juice, tasted at Hedonis Ambachtsfest. Tightly lacing, snow white, stable head quickly breaking in the middle, misty straw blonde robe with olive greenish tinge. Aroma of indeed both unripe peaches and genuine peach juice but nothing like the sugary 'pêches' we know traditionally in this country; other elements of raw pineapple, sourdough, soggy white bread, a hint of stale sweat, lime juice. Very spritzy onset, overcarbonated and very minerally, with a very genuine fruitiness of pineapple and green banana superseded by the peach juice, which is pleasantly and naturally sweet without any sticky sugariness; sourish notes underneath, wheaty and bready basis, smooth and very refreshing; mildly drying finish with subtly lingering 'real fruit sourishness' and a deep, very soft and 'faraway' hop bitterish accent. Feels completely natural, with the natural sweetness of the peach beautifully added to a refreshing, sourish and wheaty, bready basic blonde; like the others in this project, this is clean, to the point, elegant and quenching.

Pours bit yellow, decent white head with good lacing. Smell is mild fruity, very subtile. Taste is full, bit sweet, interesting fruity, bit grassy notes. Rather high carbo.

17/09/2017 - tasting glass shared with 77ships and tderoeck @Hedonis Ambachtsfest. Clear light yellow, small white head. Nose is sweet peach. Taste is peach, bit yeast. Pretty nice (not sticky sweet) for a non-sour fruitbeer, just a bit too carbonated.

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Bierridder_S. Sampled @ Hedonis Ambachtsfest 2017. Citrus golden, little bubbles. Nose is mellow soapy sweetish peach. Taste is basic sweet peach, sugar, nice mellow sweet peach compote, faint candy, some soap in the finish. Carbonation is too fizzy. Quite good for a sweet fruit beer. Pleasant to drink for sure.

17/IX/17 - from bottle @ Hedonis Ambachtsfest (Gent) - BB: n/a (2017-1513) Thanks to 77ships and Bierridder_S for sharing today's beers!

Clear little hazy blond beer, aery irregular head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: funky, sourish, bit cheesy. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: slightly sourish, fruity, peach, soft bitterness, bit malty, some citrus. Aftertaste: bit yeasty, fruity touch, dry bitter finish. The taste is luckily much better than the smell!
