A brief, foamy light tan head on a translucent, murky red-brown body. The nose features cherries, strawberries, wood, caramel and a slight booziness. Slightly sour cherries and strawberries lead the taste profile, with rich caramel; raspberry jam and candied fruit; tart cranberries; and spice and sweet malt round out a complex explosion of taste.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown color ale with a nice dark foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of candi sugar, dry fruits with some rich caramelized malt notes is quite enticing. Taste is a nice mix of sweet caramelized malt notes with hints of toffee, some candi sugar and dry fruits notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and alcohol is not overly apparent. Well done overall with good integration of different flavours. This beer does get over the top after a while but still enjoyable nonetheless.

A deep dark reddish brown ale with a brown head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with loads of treacle, light butterscotch, floral hops, resinous and smooth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with loads of dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, floral hops, melds well with a dark chocolate. Bottle at Mondial 2016.
