Bottle. Hazy light brown pour, with a medium beige head. Quite fruit aroma, slight tartness, with some good bitter style malts. Yeasty, and bready with light toffee, and caramel. The hops are not to style from what im tasting they are quite a bit fruitier, and more citric. Overall a nice beer, and an interesting take on the style.

Eye: caramel, semi-opaque, ring of tan head, light lacing; nose: pineapple, light wild yeasts, light medicinal; mouth: pineapple, light wild yeasts, light medicinal, floral hops, semi-dry finale in pineapple with medicinal presence, medium body, ratter carbonated, lightly bitter, slick texture; overall: disappointing FRANÇAIS Œil : caramel, semi-opaque, anneau de mousse fauve, légère dentelle; nez : ananas, léger levures sauvages, léger médicinal; bouche : ananas, léger levures sauvages, léger médicinal, houblon floral, finale semi-sèche en ananas avec présence médicinale, corps moyen, plutôt carbonatée, légèrement amère, texture coulante; en résumé : décevante

Évidence de bretts au premier nez avec une touche de caramel. Tons de vielle ferme et de cuir avec une touche médicamenteuse. De couleur ambrée, la mousse est de bonne épaisseur, effervescente et se maintient passablement bien. On remarque dès l’entrée de bouche sa texture moelleuse et son effervescence douce et presque naturelle. On croirait presque du cask. Les bretts sont présentes bien sur mais on découvre également des houblons légèrement terreux et un petit coté mielleux. L’équilibre est superbe. Le dosage des bretts est à point. Techniquement réussie.

Avec les Bretts, la Bitter disparaît, avec la Bitter, les Bretts ne sont pas aussi notables qu’à l’habitude; tirex-en vos propres conclusions mais pour moi, ce n’est pas un accord gagnant... Le malt nous donne une belle texture malgré le faible % d’alcool. Au nez, on dirait que c’est une chaudière de vieux cuivre (une première pour moi). L’étiquette est sublime.

Tasting at Matt’s
Cloudy light amber color with generous head. The aroma is lightly funky and Bretty, dusty. Dry mouthfeel, on the weak side, light character, but refreshing; dry and short finish, a bit astringent.
Easy.

A murky orange amber ale with thick frothy lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of smooth Brett notes, light tropical fruits, faint pine needles, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with smooth Brett notes, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. Bottle from Marché des Brasseurs d’ici, Eddy St. Gatineau.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dark dirty beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of Brett notes with light caramel malt notes is pretty interesting. Taste is also dominated by dry Brett notes with some dry caramelized cereal notes. Body is pretty full for style with good carbonation. Easy drinking with nice level of complexity.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur orange brûlé limpide, mousse beige fuyante laissant une fine couche. Arôme de Brett, malt, floral. Goût de malt grillé, Brett, un peu terreux, touche boisé en fin de bouche. Carbonatation élevée, corps faible.C’est plutôt bon, mais la grande présence des bretts ne rend pas cette bière "sessionable" pour reprendre un terme à la mode.

500mL bottle, sent from yourilevesque (thanks a lot, Youri), pours a cloudy dark orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out light brett notes and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with light bretty notes upfront, followed by dry biscuity malt and a touch of hoppiness. Not terribly exciting or complex, but it's clean and drinkable.
