Great ruby pour. Very light sweet bready malt aroma, and a touch of brown sugar. The flavour is very nice! Some caramel, brown sugar and more great bready malts. Super sessionable beer!

On tap at Brasseurs de Montreal. London Ruby English Ale 3.8%  Clear amber with a light beige head. Malty caramel aroma, raspy body with a caramel that is a touch bitter but mostly bland. Maybe served too cold?

Bouteille 341ml. Couleur brune foncée trouble, mousse beige fuyante.

Purchased a 6-pack of this in a Hull, QC convenient store. Wow... a darker light beer at 4% ABV. Pours a clean copper colour with ruby highlights. The head is small (not sure if because air got in bottle, as it did not pop like a normal brew). Not much lace, nor retention. Still, pretty good looking for a light brew. Mild nose of caramel and roasted malts. Gets much better (stronger) as it breathes, with even coffee and molasses notes. Wet mouthfeel with a little watery roasted malt taste and hints of nuts. So, overall pretty mild, but great for this style of lightness.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy amber to brown with a small, creamy and slight off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty and toffee caramelish. Breadish and toffee malty flavoured. Bitter and lingering caramelish into the far finish.

Aroma is some malt, and nothing else. Has an amber-brown body and no head. Flavour is very drinkable maltiness. Soft palate. Okay, and uncomplex.

Bottle: Poured a medium copper color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt with some subtle floral notes. Taste is also dominated by some nice floral notes with well balanced caramel malt. Body is full enough for the style with great carbonation, Not overly complex but well done and easily quaffable.
