1/2 Pint Cask @ Old Red Crow. Dark amber brown, deep tanned head. Nose is dull UK caramel, leaves malts. Taste is herbal, creamy but malt, sugar, cereal, oily UK toffee, herbal finish,… Malty oily body. Quite a decent better but nothing hoppy or at least in any modern IPA fashion here more like a fair Bitter.

Nice dark nutty color with a fine tan head on top. Ok lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma with some nice hoppy notes. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness and bitterness. Bready, citric, fruity and some roast in the flavor. Nice tasty ale.

Cask @ Smithfield Market Tavern, Manchester. Golden-brown with a creamy-head. Has a gritty-hoppy character in a smooth tasting, palatable texture. There’s some fruit too.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 9th September 2016. Deep copper with a lasting off-white foam affording full lacing. Leafy herbiness and earthy pungency in aroma. Biscuit malts, leafy hops and peach in-mouth. Bittersweet finish with leafy, grassiness dominant late. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body.
