Le Cheval Blanc, Montreal tap: Pours orange with a small white head. Aroma is cherries, wine, funk, vinegar, acid. Taste is sour cherry, sour ale, wine, some sugar. Nice low carbonation. I would classify this far more in the sour ale category than the fruit beer one. Ample amounts of complexity. Well put together, but a bit anarchic.

Draft: Poured a clear light reddish color ale with a light pink foamy head with minimal retention. Aroma of tart cherry notes with some funky notes and light vinous notes are also detectable. Taste is a mix between some tart cherry notes with some funky notes and light vinous finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Interesting but quite intense to drink in large quantities.

A lightly hazed reddish amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light barrel, cherry, not bad . In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with cherry, oily mouth feel, light Brett and acidity, not bad. On tap at Mondial 2014.
