Pour that looks like fruit punch with a light pink head. Very very faint aroma of tart raspberries.....and that’s about it! Flavor is also slightly tart and there really isn’t much more I can say about this! But seriously it was great after mowing the lawn!

Nice pale red color, almost no head but a good clarity. Smells like straight up raspberries with no filler or special additives. not much else on the aroma. It’s not bad but it’s not great either. Tastes like raspberry juice without any sour aspects. thin, faded really but just fruit. lots of it.

Pours a clean red colour with a pink hue. Small head that disappears quickly leaving not much. Berry aromas of strawberries and raspberries. The taste is not as sweet, kind of watery actually. Mild raspberries and light-bodied. Not much of a beer, but a sparkling, refreshing wet berry juice with some alcohol.

Bouteille 341ml. Couleur rouge semi-translucide, mousse rose fuyante. Arôme de framboise aigre, confiture. Goût de framboise un peu faible, jus de fruits, sûrette en fin de bouche. Carbonation moyenne, corps mince, un peu aqueuse.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep red color ale with a medium pink color head with average retention and not much lacing. Aroma of fresh raspberry with balanced sweetness and tart notes. Taste is also a refreshing mix between some fresh lightly sweet raspberry with light tart notes. There is probably some sugar that has been added but it doesn’t show too much. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very well done and very refreshing.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur ambrée-rouge et claire. Nez fruité (framboises aux notes sûres) avec des notes de grains de malt pâle et des traces de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées). Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture aux notes aqueuses (et quelques sensations sirupeuses fruitées). Goût fruité légèrement sûr et aux petites notes acides(framboises) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un léger goût de malt pâle ainsi que des traces de confitures de framboises puis en finale l’on retrouve un regain de goût fruité (faibles notes aigres de moût de framboises) avec des notes de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées). Post-goût moyen-court, très légèrement aigre de fruits (framboises).

Brown bottle, 341 ml, purchased at Le Grand Duc on June 6 2009, savoured on November 19 2009; eye: amber with a reddish hue, clear, good effervescence, head disappears completely almost immediately; nose: raspberry, malt, light hops; mouth: raspberry, malt, hops is more present than I expected, lightly acrid finale in raspberry with presence of hops, light-medium body, average carbonation, lightly bitter, slick, a bit thin, lightly acidic; overall: quite likable FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 341 ml, achetée chez Le Grand Duc le 6 juin 2009, savourée le 19 novembre 2009; œil : ambrée avec une teinte rougeâtre, claire, bonne effervescence, mousse disparaît complètement et rapidement; nez : framboise, malt, léger houblon; bouche : framboise, malt, houblon plus présent que je ne l’aurais pensé, finale légèrement âcre en framboise avec présence de houblon, corps léger-moyen, carbonatation moyenne, légèrement amère, coulante, un peu mince, légère acidité; en résumé : bien aimé

A pink soft drink colour. No aroma...oh wait, a bit of berries. In mouth, a weak raspberry pop, watery...needs some work. Tasted at Festival des Fromages de Warwick, June 14, 2008.
