Inspired by classic European lagers, our entire Brewing Team got together to create this truly collaborative beer that captures the essence of European tradition. The result, Spezial Pils, is our take on a German-style pilsner with a pleasant balance between light, grainy malt and spicy, floral hops. We lager it at freezing temperatures for an extended period to round out its delicate flavors and improve drinkability. The finish is crisp and clean with a pleasant dryness and subtle bitterness. Prost!

355 ml can from Beergium.
Golden, clear body, with a medium, dissipating, frothy, off-white head.
Aroma of grains, grass, herbs, flowers, bread, some honey.
Tastes quite similar.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, medium dry, herbal, grassy, floral, subtly sweet.
OK. My can doesn't seem to be that fresh (couldn't read the canned date), tastes quite flat, lacking crispness. Still good to drink, with the typical notes I like this style for, while I was expecting more.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 1. Clear pale golden. Nose is corn bread, somewhat sweet dough, slightly vegetable. Easy green vegetable, odd sweet mellow corn, grainy, dough. Passable but oddly sweet, somewhat vegetable for me.
