Beaverfest Day 2. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Decent dark chocolate malt. Fruity whiskey. Minerals. Light dry finish leaves plenty of whiskey in the aftertaste. Good fun.

Draft @ Beavertown Extravaganza'17.

(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 2. Black. Nose is massively raw almost vegetable coffee, coffee grounds to the max, bitter roots. Taste is lovely sweet cacao, chocolate, chocolate cake upfront but finish is all massive bit too green coffee, bitter roast. Body is nicely thick. Intensity of the coffee is near overkill but still very lovely.

Keg at the first Beavertown Extravaganza, day 2 - London. Pours deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Lots of burnt marshmallows, chocolate, toffee, moderate earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Nicely rounded finish, with further dry chocolate, a little toasted brown bread, toffee and fudge. Good.

On draught at Bob's Bar. Pours black with some brown around the edges, and a medium beige head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of smoked malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and a bit of oak. The finish is charred malt and bittersweet chocolate. Pretty good all around.
