750ml bottle @ Epic Lost Abbey tasting. Thanks Tide and Otso! Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, bourbon, oak, wood, vanilla, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and earthy notes. Taste is heavy, roasty and oaky with loads of bourbon, dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, toffee and hints of syrup. Finish is smooth, sweetish and slightly roasty with some licorice, dark chocolate, oak, bourbon, vanilla and toffee. Quite complex, heavy and tasty. Nice one.

Bottle thanks to Russ. Pours a dark brown with medium beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong wood, bourbon, vanilla, roast. Slick body, roast, dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, nice sweetness, very nice.

Pitch black color. Very dark brown color head. Smooth, bourbon, oak, dark chocolate, chocolate cake. So smooth, delicious. Soy sauce, oak in the finish. Amazing

Enormous thanks Vran & others! Pitch black body, tan head. Big soft bourbon aroma, heavy maltiness, nice, a big dose of coconut. Lovely soft, well rounded maltiness, coconut, bourbon, light bitterness. Not a single misstep, very much tasty, with superbly integrated barrel character. A bloody classic, that's what this is. Hats off!

Tap@Beavertown Extravaganza 2017, London - pours dark brown verging black with a beige head. Roasted and sweet malty with chocolate, coffee, caramel, burnt charred dark malty nuances, some vanilla, resonating bourbon soaked wooden accents into the malty close.
