(thanks for sharing!) Sampled draft @ The Beavertown Extravaganza 2017. Day 2. Black, little head. Nose is lovely thick USA bourbon molasses alcoholic maple syrup goop. Taste is alcoholic all the way, heavy bourbon, coffee. Body is pure molasses & maple syrup. Oh yeah. Beats teh already great base beer but so hot.

Tap. Pitch black color with beige head. Aroma is full on bourbon barrel, vanilla, caramel, fudge, chocolate. Taste is again super-forward bourbon juice, with an extra slight chili kick in the back. Good, but a bit simple - I might prefer the regular Serpent Stout.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours "black" with a dark tan head. Aroma is treacle and bourbon. Full bodied. Flavor is treacle, bourbon, "whiskey" and a touch of dark, earthy chocolate. There’s a slight amount of heat. Delicious.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Kenneth for this obscurity. Pours deep brown with a foamy tan head. Meaty burnt malts in the nose, chocolate, dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with more dark fruits, burnt toffee, alcohol, wood, berries and leather. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with rich brownies, baking cocoa, wood, ash, more leathery dark fruits. Excellent.
