Tap at Salon piva. Medium body, med-high carbonation. Med-high bitterness, med-light sweetness. Malt-centered, with assertive coffee and light cocoa. Moderately woody, light coconut. Background earthy hops character. It may be the wood's fault, it may be not, but there is also med-light medicinal peat-like flavour in here, since there is no peat involved, I consider it a fault and a pretty big one. Hinders drinkability, besides having no place here. Overall not great, not terrible.

Sample from 75 cl bottle. Deep mahogany colour with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, coffee, fruits, roasted notes. Taste is roasted sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes drying with toasted malts. Lacks drama for an Imp. Stout.
