On tap at Ølhallen, Tromsø. A bit hazy light amber with a white head. A bit on the sweet side with hops, citrus, grass and hints of yeast. Also weak notes of malt. The body was medium as was the bitterness. It’s always interesting to try a beer from an unknown Norwegian brewery.

Fra fat på Ølhallen 12 Mar 15. Ultradyprød - egentlig svart. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Søt fruktaroma. Plommer. Tynn lacing. Smaken tung fruktig. Blir svakt syrlig etter hvert. Avslutter tørt.

170ml draught at Ølhallen. Unclear apricot-coloured body, dissipating white head, crocheted lacing to the glass. Floral and herbal hos on the nose, semi-sweet. Grass, citrus and wheat to the taste buds with malty sweetness beneath leading to a smooth bittersweet ending. Well balanced. Fresh and tasty (Tromsø 06.03.2015).

330 ml bottle sampled @ Cardinal. Slightly unclear golden body with a big frothy white head. Aroma has citric fruit, malt and some pine. Flavor is rather mild malt with citric fruity hops, some pine and moderate in bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent but a bit straight forward. Was expecting a little bit more from an APA brewed in Belgium.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden, with a creamy, quickly receding head. Aroma is zesty tropical hops, with lychee and apricots, as well as sweet, bready caramel malts. Light to medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is initially bitter hops, with resin and pine, followed by sweet, hoppy notes of apricots, pineapples, and zesty tropical fruits as well as roasted malts with bread and honey. Lingering zesty grapefruity hops in the finish.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 23.02.15. Hazy pale orange. Off-white head and lacing. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, with a subtle hint a public pissoir that hasn?t been cleaned for a while. Refreshing taste, with tropical fruits, citrus and succade. Decent grapefruitbitterness in aftertaste.Very quaffable!

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Slumpelukko is a "gypsy brewery", they do not have production facilities of their own, and this beer is brewed for them in Belgium. Hazy deep golden to orange colour, large to moderate white head. Very nice hoppy aroma, notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit and some pine. Dryish yeasty flavour, notes of wood and pine needles, some fruit.
