On tap at Melkebaren. A hazy dark amber to brown beer with a creamy finger thick light beige head. The aroma is lightly smoked, ham and a touch of bonfire, with some caramel and dried fruits. Fresh fruits in the flavor, as well as the same smoke and caramel found in the flavor. Subtle bitterness, not overpowering the sweetness. Full body and a smooth carbonation. Lasting smoked ham and fruity finish with some caramel. A very fine smoked bock. 160220

On tap at Rekord Bar, Drammen. Copper coloured with an off-white head. Malty aroma with nice smoky notes, some caramel and hints of herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with pleasant smoky flavours and a rather light bitterness. On tap @ Henrik. Oh, this is his smells like a proper smoked bock. It's really beefy and smoked up all the way. It has a really thick and malty sweetness, smelling it it's almost like inhaling smoked syrup. A bit of matches detected. It's also really nutty with almonds and sesame oil traces. Lots and lots of aroma. Normally not a big fan of either bocks or smoked non-imperial stouts but this tastes quite alright. It's as expected really thick, malty and almost chewy. Softer than I like on the carbonation. It has a nice not too smoked beefy taste also. No lack on the malty chewy bite here. Mild red berries, both lingon and cherries. Surprisingly well balanced. Not ashamed to say that I liked this one. Keep it up Aass. BTW, the beer is cloudy and warm rusty in color with a medium sized slowly sidesticking beige head. 22.01.2016

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 18.01.16. Dark copper. Small pale brown head. Not much lacing. Aroma of toffee, dark malt and a hint of peat. Similar taste. Quite moderate smoke. Medium bitterness. Easy to drink and the medium high ABV is not noticeable.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Dark but clear mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of beechwood smoked malts, notes of smoked meat and smoked fish. The flavour is not too sweet, fairly easy drinking for its strength. Smoke in the flavour too, and lots of smoke in the aftertaste.
