Bottle (backlog 2014). Slightly unclear golden body with a small off-white head. Mild fruity aroma with notes of spices and flowers. Flavor is mild pale malt, light fruity, spicy, herbal. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not particular outstanding in any direction but easy drinkable and quite refreshing.

Bottle. Pours golden, with a big creamy head. Aroma is fruity yeast, with brett and horseblanket, oak, herbs, aniseed and apples, as well as grainy malts. Creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is yeasty, with some brett, oak and apple fruitiness.

Bottle. Golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is orange, malt, yeast, fruit. Flavour is orange, malt, yeast, fruit, caramel, spices. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Fott flaske med champagnekork, delt på dag 2 under RBHD-samlingen og eksemplarisk åpnet av verten Asle Bjørn: højt belgisk skum. Gylden, nesten helt klar. Deilig duft av friskt treverk, bær og kvae. Tørr, kompleks smak. Kanskje litt overkarbonert, men en meget god og litt annerledes saison. Meget interessant med sine spesielle ingredienser. Skal kjøpes!

Pale orange. Dense and receding off-white head. Fine and refreshing aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Similar taste. Quite dry mouthfeel. A bit fizzy. High drinkability.

Shared 750 ml corked & caged bottle at local tasting. Deep golden to orange colour, large white head. Strange aroma of stale jam and berries, sea buckthorn and myrrh. Fairly dry and spicy flavour, myrrh and juniper berries, hints of sea buckthorn.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a hazy, dark golden body and a huge, rocky and collapsing white head. Quite sweetish aroma with apricots, a herbal touch and a little maltyness. Fruit caramel hints. Too spiced I think, guess Mr Musso have had some influence here. It’s too sweet on the flavor for a saison, a bit spiced and herbal too I think. Mint notes, some alcohol hints, pale malts sweetness, some bitterness. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish. A quite complex one, but also a bit messy. 140509

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, yeast, hint of cheese and spices. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a slightly warm, spicy, yeasty and caramel finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Flaske 0,75l spandert av Rune og delt med flere under treff på Nerstranda 9 Apr 14. Aprikosfarget. Høyt tett skum. Svakr fruktig aroma. Luftig preg. Svak kryddersmak som tiltar. Litt kjedelig.

0.75l corked bottle. Oh, it's quite a loud beer this. Lots of fizzing sounds when pouring it in to the glass. A nice huge really fluffy white head quickly forms over a cloudy orange looking body. A thirst the nose is soft yeasty with floral tones all the way. A little bit of green apple, some coriander spicy hints and straws. Doesn't smell bad at all. Yeah, it it quite lively on the bubbles as suspected, and feels mild and oily in the mouth. More yeast on the taste, but it's not disturbing. I get a taste of the sweetness found in sour green not ripe plums, floral tones, light bright candied sugar and a little alcohol in the finish. Is there some spices in this as well? Almost like it has a little peppery prickling on the back of the tongue along side with the yeast and alcohol. The aftertaste is almost a little salty in a cowberry way. Quite a nice one, not bad at all with lasagna. 29.01.2014
