Birra Artigianale ispirata allo stile california common ma interpretata a nostro modo. Di colore ambrato chiaro, è caratterizzata all’aroma e al gusto da note di malti caramello con una leggera componente fruttata, data in parte dagli esteri dovuti alla fermentazione e dalla scelta di usare scorze di arancia e di bergamotto fresco a fine bollitura. Come da tradizione per lo stile, è stato utilizzato solo il luppolo Northern Brewer in ogni fase della bollitura, caratterizzando la birra con un amaro e un aroma molto delicati e non invasivi.

Lattina. Il naso riconosce segni di fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta limpido. Il colore è ramato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia amara, bergamotto e ginger.

Draft at Craft Beer Festival, Forlì, Italy. Pours transparent gold with fluffy white foam, very persistent. Aroma is weird, smelling like medicine. Body is average with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderate in sweetness with good bitterness. Finish is regular.

Draft glass @ “Italian Beer Week-end #6 - Ranzani 13 Édition” CML Fontainas. I am not hugely familiar with the style but this one seemed quite unusual but I rather liked it. Darker orange than expected white head. Mildly sweet nose toffee, caramel, sugar, sweet bread. Taste is easy simple mildly sweet toffee, caramel, butterscotch, pastry. Body is slick toffee. Mild & easy sweet, rather nice.

Deep amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, yellowish head.
Aroma of grains, citrus, lime, some grass, sweet malts.
Taste with about the same aromas, but with less grain, more citrus notes and some pine.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes moderate bitter, citric, piney, a bit grassy, slightly grainy.
Nice one. Fresh, fruity and easy to drink. The nose is a bit boring, while the taste has very nice citrus notes. Good example of this style.

Draft sample @ Fiera della Birra, Cesena ’14. Superbe étiquette. Ambrée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme est fruité sur un bouquet léger de bergamote offrant un citronné plaisant et fin, feuillu odorant. Légères effluves d’agrumes et de tropical. Palais est fruité prenant, tropical rappelant la mandarine avec un côté bergamote un peu plus discret - dommage. L’ajout d’écorce reste quant à lui également un peu trop discret. Le caractère malt reste centré sur le pâle et cara. Avec un abv si peu élevé, l’ajout bergamote et écorce plus prononcé aurait donné une dimension autre. Reste très correcte.
