A full-bodied beer with deep chocolate color, velvety malt texture, and a dark-roasted flavor, with hints of smokiness and coffee. It combines the dryness of traditional Dublin-style stout with the strength and character of Imperial Stout.

On a flight at the brewpub on 11th August 2025. Ruby red hue to the dark brown body, tan coloured crust on top. Malty with a slight peaty smoke hint under the coffee grain aroma and taste. Decent enough.

Xmas Boozy Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is thin and light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, oxidised, ripe fruits. Quite a dry finish. Tastes older than it is. Odd.

Tap@Pike. I remember drinking this beer back in college when I first started my craft beer journey. Pours opaque black, medium creamy tan head, dispatching slowly with good lacing. Aroma of dark roasted malt, Baker's cocoa, molasses, hint of chicory, ash. Flavors is light sweet, medium plus bitter that lingers into the far finish. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Pretty solid straight stout. Welcome change from the pastry variety (all though full disclosure I love those too).
