On tap at Cafe Rose Red Brugge. Hazy gold amber colour lasting white head. Tropical fruit perfumed hoppy aroma. Yes pineapple and mango. Very much a new style ipa with lots of tropical fruit and light bitterness. Some Belgian influence with the floral esters. Very drinkable i thought.

Clear blond appearance with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some light malts. In the flavour there’s a strong caramelised pineapple taste.

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled draft @ ZBF 2017. Lightly hazy golden, creamy white head. Nose is milky sweet, too BE yeast, soap, grain. Taste is just soap, green, sweet grain yeast, dull, far too BE. Body is soap, grain, sugar, yeast. Even ignoring the supposed style this isn’t that good.

At Zythos 2017. Pours clear golden. Aroma is candy, light grassy and citric hops. Body is medium, sweetness losing to bitterness, soft carbonation and texture. Unusual for an IPA, seems to have a rather low hop bill. Palate is unbalanced. Okay.

23/IV/17 - on tap @ Zythos Bier Festival 2017 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2017-510) Thanks to kraddel for sharing today's beers!
Clear pale blond beer, creamy irregular white head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit fruity, smoky touch (wtf?), sweet, yeast. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, grassy, grains, very malty, some caramel. Aftertaste: more of the same, bit metallic, banana peel, hint of citrus. Seriously, have these guys ever drank an IPA before brewing one? Two serious and free tips guys. 1. don't use Belgian yeast in an IPA. 2. Use (lots of) aromatic hops. Preferably New World hops, but that's even open for discussion. Bah, another Belgian (Wallonian) brewery that tries and fails at making a decent ipa.
