Very good, dense, whipped eggwhite-like head over fully hazy orange beer. Rather spicy nose with something alike to cinnamon, but gradually vanishes. Mushrooms, yeast features, pancake dough. Bitterish, more herbal than spicy, oranges, orangepeel; toasted and bit fiery malts. Finish has a chili-like streak which goes rather well with the underlying light fruity sweetness. Warming up, toffee flavour. Quite good carbonation, enliveling the beer. Not overly full bodied, but slick. Pretty nice. Manages to slip out of the common denominator, in some way. 6/4/7/4/14

Thank you for sharing German speaking RB Crew! Sampled bottled @ ZBF 2017. Near clear orange, little head. Nose is overly metallic, oily caramel, poor, esters, far too metallic,... Taste is far too much green apple, vegetable, bit metallic, oily,... Body is the same, some milky yeast. Poor stuff.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden color with small white ring. Aroma is juicy fruits, but in a slightly off way. Taste is fruity, estery, a bit off again - like badly fermenting fruits. Medium carbonation. Just okay.

At Zythos 2017. Pours clear golden. Aroma is earthy malty, little booze. Body is heavy and sweet, umami, candy, lovely carbonation, but still overly sweet. Not bad, but not beautiful either.

26/VII/16 - 33cl bottle acquired from the brewer himself @ home - BB: n/a (2016-788)

Clear orange beer, big creamy irregular off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, some orange peel, bit fruity, grains. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: quite some curaçao, bit yeasty, little sourish, soft gentle bitterness. Aftertaste: alcohol, bit metallic, grassy, orange peel, bit sweet, spicy touch, yeast, alcohol is pretty noticeable and to me not exactly necessary... I'd like the wolf to have a bit more of a bite. :p Personally I would have opted for a stout, or at least a dubbel with some roasted malts in it, to represent the wolf. ;-)
