Can on MV. Pours clear brown with a creamy, khaki head. Lightly sweet with notes of burnt toast, a little earth, cocoa. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mellow earthy bitterness to finish, more well toasted malts, leaves. Nice mild.

The appearance was a murky brown color with a film of a little white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace.
The aroma had some toast, white bread with a little bit of burnt, slight ash/somewhat like smoke.
The flavor had some sweetness with a mild toasty sort of aftertaste and finish.
The palate was almost medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty decent brown ale, but left me wondering if it’s American or English, not sure, just drink up if it’s your style.

Draft at the brewery, murky dirty mahogany color, thin head. Aroma is charred nuts, dried autumn leaves, and English yeast. This is all roast and sweet or dirty malt flavors, sugar.

No hop presence at all. For the gravity the flavor isn’t bad but not something I would want to drink a lot of. But is very chewy and dirty as far the texture goes. Simple and straight forward mild ale.

Not a very attractive appearance, dark brown, cloudy. Weak aroma, with a little bitterness. Mild bitterness, some cedar or wood, sweet malt backbone, brown sugar, molasses

Tap. Pours cloudy mahogany, small team head, some lacing. Aroma is roasty, a bit smoky, nutty, coffee grounds. Flavor is pretty roasty, some ashtray, coffee, light sweet, medium bitter, sine acidity. A bit of rubber develops over time. Light plus body.

A brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with nutty notes, light butterscotch, treacle, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with light butterscotch, nutty notes, OK. On tap at brewery.
