Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, baking fat, mayonnaise. Taste is chocolate, mayonnaise again (wtf). Medium carbonation, aromatic aftertaste. Okay.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma has lots of roasted malt and a little liquorice. Taste is smilar. Nice fresh hop bitterness too.

At Zythos 2017. Pours dark reddish brown. Aroma is floral, dirt, earth. Body is medium, clearly roasted, dusty and chalky texture. Pleasant sweetness and bitterness, that part is balanced. Palate lingers on sweet liquorice. Good, but weird nose.

Bottleshare at Chez Smith. Hazy deep reddish amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Mellow dark malts, traces of malt cream and roast bitterness. Mild tangy dark fruits. Modest spice and bitterish floralness before the light dry finish. Lacks something this one. Bit fluffy.

Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours clear red-brown with a creamy, tan head. The aroma holds brown bread, some berries, a little toffee, toasted pine. Light sweet flavour with more brown bread, some cocoa, burnt pine, orange peel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more toasty toffee, brown bread, mellow cocoa, light piney hops. Nice enough.

Bottle at LKS. It pours deep red - brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, dried fruits, tangy, red berry, toasty and plum. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, tangy orange, marmalade, earthy, wood, leather, spicy, bit soapy and waxy. Finish is roasty and charred. A bit messy. Not sur the balance is there, but interesting anyhow.

Bottle split at LKS Hacknee Hights, thanks to Kenny, 27/03/17. Chestnut to mahogany brown with a decent beige head. Nose is light red berries, spice, toffee, light roasted notes. Taste comprises black peppery spice, liquorice, red berry tang, toffee, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Average for style ... a touch overly sweet and lacking hop presence.
