Bottle. Clear golden pour, rocky white head. Fresh, crisp pale cereal aroma. Pungent grassy, saazy hops. Solid mouth feel, soft carb. The finish is simple, but effective. Grassy hops, slightly yeast malts, but still good cereals and grains. It does what it set out to do.

A hazed golden pils with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with grassy hops, oxidized, tired. In mouth, mineral malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK at best.

Thank you Tommy for sharing this bottle with us. 60CL bottle split 3 ways.

A - Dark yellow slightly cloudy pour a 1 finger head that faded quickly to a small line.

S - Nose is a very good light bitterness, wheat heavy, slight lemon rind, honey and pepper.

T - Good bitterness. It’s very orange bitter, some pepper, pine cone and more bitter tree fruits.Lovely wheat heavy.

M - good body, very clean, hoppy finish nice fruitiness throughout with walnuts in the finish as well

O - Great break in our sweet beer tasting and a delicious pils.

Part of their Oktoberfest 2014 mixed pack. Pours a very slight hazy, light golden colour, with a big frothy white head, great retention and loads of thick creamy-foam lace. Beautiful aromas of typical Pils hops reminding me of some of the best pilsner around (which is weird being there is no Saaz). Not as grassy in the taste with very light hop at first, but with a grainy finish. Then, the nice mild grassy hops shows up, lingering after the grain malts. Not a big fan of pils (except a few, and gotta be cold), but this I must say is quite a nice one. One of the better American ones that don’t seem like one.

Pours a golden with a touch of cloudiness, with a finger of white fluffy head. Bread malt and yeast smell, and a little bitter hops. The taste is very similar. Bready malts, some mild bitterness, just a little astringent. Pils are not really my favourite, but don’t feel this is the best example of the style. Am I wrong here?

Bottle: Poured a nice golden color pils with a huge pure white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of clean cereal notes with light floral notes is enticing. Taste is also dominated by clean cereal notes with some light residual sugar notes and some light dry hoppy notes. Body is about average with great carbonation. I quite enjoyed this one especially the fact that the malt bill was very clean which allowed to taste the cereals.
