Sample at Kurtkeller 026: Summer-tastic 01 on 06/25/2017. Hazy yellow-orange color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of yeast, nectarines and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of peach, nectarine, herbal yeast and malt. The finish is fruity with a fresh nectarine and oak aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with a medium nectarine note. Medium citrus and tropical fruit notes with pinepaple being rather prevalent. Some faint malt notes with a medium light oak character. Pours a slightly murky, somewhat bright, yellow gold with a medium sized, medium thick, white head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is fairly acidic, but not too sharp with a light sweetness. Moderate nectarine character with a simialr amount of citrus and pineapple. Some medium light oak notes with a hint of an herbal, phenolic funk. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another pretty nice sour from the Bruery. It could have had a bit more fruit, but the lighter fruit level allowed a bit more of the complexity from the base beer to show through.

Bottle shared by Chradam on 7/23/16.
Off-white head atop a nectarine-peach-gold body that shows moderate retention. High clarity.
Big fruit skin nose with a strong dose of both acetic and lactic acid. There’s a vanilla-cream-like maltiness behind it with a strong biscuity edge. This fruit is just wonderful: nicely macerated but still preserving a good juice and skin character. Some enjoyable phenolic notes as well.
Phew. This is sour stuff! Take the strong tartness of nectarines and add a big dose of lactic and acetic acid and youve got yourself some enamel stripping beer. But I find the juiciness and creamy-sweet malts just about balance it. I like Bruery sours. Loved sour in the rye and this is right up there for me.

Bottle. Hazy, cloudy gold color. Aroma is funky yeast, rotten fruit and sulfur. Like a whole lot of sulfur.
Well, the nectarine is pretty forward but... The sulfur is just really large. The pucker factor in this brew is huge. Pretty mild amount of oak. Thankfully the standard vinegar that Bruery is know for isn’t here. All said, not bad.
Note: this is my 200th overall sour / wild ale rating. And I don’t really care for the style!! Yay me!!

750ML Bottle. Golden orange split 6 ways 1 finger solid white head with some thin lacing. Loads of nectarine, oranges, grapefruit, very acidic aroma. whoa. holy sour. Tons of vinegar, tart, their blond sour ale base is always really intense. Vinegar bomb, nectarine finish.

Bottle thanks to Lee. Pours a hazy gold with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong apricot, nectarine, peach, tangerine. Thin mouth, nice sourness, tangerine, peach, low acicity, really enjoyed this one.
