On tap at Growler Garage.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange almost yellow color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that dissipated immediately.
The smell takes off sweet corn and light bready adjuncts.
The taste was mainly the same with a light dry bready to malty aftertaste. Light smooth finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it.
Carbonation runs fairly light.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good sessionable kolsch. Would be a good food beer. I’d have again.

Draught at Woody’s, 8/20/15.
Clear light golden blonde body shows lazy bubbles coursing upwards forming a small white head with low retention.
Cereal in the nose with a bit of peppery hops, light fruitiness from the yeast and a touch of vanilla-tinged honey. No alcohol nor flaws, though I have smelled cleaner kolschs.
Very refreshing, however, with a good attenuation, a soft fruitiness, good dose of peppery bitterness and more cereal-like grains on the end. A bit of corn/glue/ethanol in some form or other, noted as it warms and breathes, towards the end of the glass, but it’s minimal and the dryness, lack of obnoxious American hops and enjoyable esters all make for an overall good experience. Would certainly order this over any local session ipas, and the like.

Draft at the brewery, 7/5/15
Clear golden color with a small white head and light lace. Aroma of German hops and grains. A bit bready as well. Nice, clean, and light dry feel. Hits what I look for in this style.

Keg at The Reservoir - Waterbury, VT. Pours clear yellow with a mellow, creamy white cap. Classically-styled stuff, with simple pale dough, cereal, white bread and minimal bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary pale bread in the finish, with doughy white bread especially, some straw. A tasty, easygoing kolsch. Solid.

A blonde kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet grassy malt with mineral notes, grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a nice fruity biscuit malt with grassy hops and mineral notes, OK. On tap at brewery.

4 oz. taster @ The Brewery . Pours a golden straw with no head. Aroma is sweet malts, cereal, light hop in the background. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with soft prickly carbonation and notes of sweet malts, corn, ale grain and a trance of vanilla. Nice Kolsch, easy to drink and well crafted.
