22oz bottle pours a hazy, dark orange with some creamy, white head. Nose is malty, piney, orange, some grapefruit. Flavor is well balanced, sweet honey, orange, pine, some grass, lemon, malt. Medium bodied, citrusy finish.

Bottle at Sander’s place, NYC. Pours rich amber with a fine, creamy white head. Toasty bread in the nose, light caramel, grapefruit. Light sweet flavor, lots of dry citrus fruits, bitter pine needles, citrus rind. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry piney hop finish, very light sweetness, lots of grapefruit bitterness. Decent. (3.6)Bottle at Bruce’s place for a tasting. Pours clear, copper-gold with a fine, creamy head. Raw hoppy nose, some wort, pine and grass. Light to medium sweet flavor with good bitterness, more pine and grass, some toasty bread and earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Gritty bitter finish, more earth, some toasty grass. Decent beer.

draft @ Prohibition Pig. Tulip show a clear amber appearance. With quickly fading white head. Nose is a fresh orange peel with light caramel notes. Hints of citrus and spices. Strong orange peel, caramel and piney hop bitterness. Well done! Medium body and really easy to drink.
