Bottle. Pours a gorgeous amber color with a medium off white head. The aroma is a roasted malt and light hops. Nice lacing on this one. The taste is a nut malt with a caramel finish. A decent amber ale but nothing too special.

This must be an old avatar shown here. On my bottle it says ’late’ harvest. Iced tea color and appearance. No bubbles rising within. Strong mildly sweet candy aroma. has some malt or hop presence in the initial taste but it don’t leave much of a bitter impression. This has a reversed typical hop impact, it’s bitter at first then fades, compared to many that build in a bitter way thru the session. More gentleman like. Some carbonation. Not bad for a fest beer. Could use a few manners on the taste buds. Finish is medium short mild industrial pilsner hop bitterness.

A clear golden amber ale, with copper hues and a thick off white head. A sweet caramle malt with notes of cinnamon. In mouth, a good crisp sweet malt with lots of nuts, some herbal hops, and grassy notes. Medium bodied. Bought at Party Source, Fall 2006. BB 2007-24-06.

12oz bottle. Clear copper color with nice tan head and good lacing. This beer creates the same flavor as aroma. There’s sweet caramel malts, a bit of biscuit, dryer tasting roasted malts and some floral to spicy hops. Tasty brew.

Pours a reddish amber, and is basically your standard "crystal malt + hops" concoction. Hops show some grass and citrus in the nose, mostly citrus in the flavor. Crystal malts are there, clean and sweet. Hops are fairly mild in presence. A drinkable, clean beer. Could be a fair session beer.

Slightly hazy amber body with a creamy off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet sugary flavor with a gentle hop background.

Sample at AleFest Dayton: This beer is a slightly hazy dark amber/orange color with a compact off-white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is malty with a hint of hops. Medium-bodied and dry with malt and caramel flavors, plus some hops in the background. The finish is both malty and fruity. Pretty straightforward.

Pour is a amber with a fluffly white head. Aroma is a nice does of bready malts. Flavor is decent with caramel malts and a slight roastyness. I was expecting this to be pretty poor but i was pleasently suprised. Quite flavorful and crisp.

A simple amber ale. Has a very "Red Hook" flavor. Mostly malt and very dry. No flaws but not much to enjoy. Just a hint of hops. Kind of boring.

Bottle. Coppery with a small head. Aromas of copper and malt. Malty, metallic finish. Nothing special... nothing even decent. Not something I care to try again.
