Location: Draft Postal Building Location - From the sampler glass 3/7/09.

Flavor: Light fruit
Overall Impression: Not going to waste a lot of time rating this one, a very standard Hefeweizen. Light fruit, not much else.

Got a growler of this from the Shirlington location. Pours a hazy, translucent orangey brown with a white head that completely faded. Smells wheaty, grassy with slight citrus and ther fruity esters. Taste is very fruity, bananas, mangoes, pears, lemons, etc. Finish is slightly sweet with no bitterness at all (a good thing). Very drinkable, session style beer but nothing over the top or remarkable.

Cloudy blond color; creamy head. Typical Weisse aroma. Good mouthfeel, with a balanced combination of wheat, spices and lemon peel. Pleasant.

Capitol Hill location. Smells like any old Hefe, but has a light, sweet flavor. It’s actually very light, and the weather is so cold outside, I wasn’t impressed by this one.

An unclear orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is very light wheaty - too light for my liking. The flavor is sweet with hints of lemon and wheat - seem a bit like chewing on wheat grain. I find it a bit weird for the style - and wonder where the banana is - what yeast is used?
