Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 08/04/17. Prac 100 = CDA 700 for this Bois on Rate My Bier Dot Com. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is roast malts, spice, red berry notes, dank hop chime, bitter tropical esters, light pine resin. Taste comprises pine needle, charr, toffee, cocoa sprinkle, earthy hoppage, coffee, red berry tinged, zesty tropciana in the background. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Xolid XDA !!!

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Color is almost black with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, citrus, hops and roasted malts. Nice dry finish. Very good.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Oily black. Nose is thick oily syrup, mocha. Taste is bitter roast, soy sauce, umami, very oily, not very BIPA in taste but quite nice as a thick soy sauce brew with some roasted malt balance. Quite thick.

Draft @ Hoppiness and Beer, Warsawa. Brune foncée, col crémeux café au lait laissant un léger doré au verre. Arôme est malté, finemetn grillé, agrumes en complément arrivant en retrait et offrant des éléments de c-hops et CTZ. Palais est malté, caramel, pas mal de café avec un agréable accompagnement houblonné vers les agrumes et léger résineux. Belle Black IPA avec une petite rondeur chocolatée en fin de bouche.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest 2017. 08/04/2017. An opaque black coloured pour with a lasting tan head. Aroma is woody bark roast, pine needles, black roast. Flavour is composed of butter black roast, earthy pine, needle. Hint of coffee. Palate is dry woody tannin, moderate carbonation, Dirty pine. Solid black ipa.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest. Pours oily black-brown with a creamy, beige head. A lot of burnt pine in the nose, earth, cocoa. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of baking cocoa, ashy roast, espresso, more pine, grapefruit rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more ashy roast, baking cocoa, scorched earth. Good stuff.

Tap at Pravownia Tap House. Pours black with dirty tan head that melts away a little. Aroma is molasses, chocolate, coffee and roast malts. Taste is a real burnt roast malt coffee with with chocolate and the Hops coming through at the end. Nice and drinkable.

On tap. Aroma: very fruit, passion fruit and papaya. Taste: very fruity, sour citrus, strong hop bitteness. Very good.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear black with a burgundy red tint. Finally a visible head on a Pracownia beer - light brown - but it dissipates in no time. Really odd aroma, hardly any hops, more like children’s cough syrup - very licoricy. Rich, sweet, licorice body, low in carbonation, rather malty bitterness. This is more a malty Porter with a little extra hops. Not bad, but doesn’t have the feel of a Black IPA at all. 310316
