Summer 2012 Had this as part of a mixed 6-pack from a convenience store on St-Laurent. This sucked, the whole 6 pack was horrible, the color & look were fine for each style (this was a nice clear gold with that belgian notes trying to get past the infection) but they must have been infected or past their prime because every single beer tasted like bile. My brother finished them as no one else wanted to touch the stuff.

Random street beer while walking to meet a friend that ended up very decent (the beer, not the friend). Pours blonde with ok head and lacing. Nice sweet malt, nice florals. Decently balanced Belgian blonde. A little underrated, but certainly a good beer to brown paper bag it walking down the alleys of Montreal.

Bouteille 341ml.

Originally rated September 2005. Pours a cloudy light yellow-beige loaded with chunck of yeast-looking particules all over the glass. The head is medium size and foamy with not much retention. Lacing is minimal. Aromas of dark fruit, sweet malt and some spices. Very light mouthfeel. The taste is quite smooth with some apples, dark fruits, caramel, cinnamon and other spices. Quite interesting brew for Schoune, just not my thing (as too much plums).

Has a boring orange-yellow body and minimal head on top. Soft aroma of citrus. Flavour is an odd cloying sweetness reminiscent of malt liquor. Weak and syrupy body. This is nowhere near resembling a Belgian brew.

Is a hazy orange-brown color, has a huge white head and nose of orange and spice, very similar to La Fin Du Monde. The palate has hints of bread, oranges, spices with a sour malt undertone. The finish is dry and slightly bready, but there is a lingering aftertaste on the tongue that is quite interesting.

Pour a golden colour brew with a nice big head that persisted for a long time (I hadn't had a great head like this in a long time). Light taste of spice, but there could have been a more complex mix of spice for my taste. The alcohol is well hidden. I also noticed a lot of lees at the bottom of the bottle. This is a good one from Schoune.

Dark yellow, hazy. Peppery nose, fruity flavour (ripe melon), medium body. Slight unpleasant cellar flavour.

Distinctly unpleasant. I like quesadillas, but I don't want to taste them in my beer.
