Bottle shared at home. Black pour, brown head. Nose is earthy notes, coffee, chocolate, faint fruity/sherry touch. Taste is a massive porter base with a spicy, fruity touch. Light to medium body, soft carbo.

30.09.2019. Aromat bardzo przyjemny czekolada, kawa i jakby jakieś przyprawy oraz słód. Piana ciemnobeżowa drobna. piwo czarne nieprzejrzyste. Smak palone, kawa, czuć chmiel jednak dominuje kawa i paloność, w tle czuć trochę ta beczkę. Nasycenie raczej niewielki. piwo nie jest bardzo gęste ciało średnie, goryczka wyraźna na finiszu. Pijalność niska raczej degustacyjne piwo.

Bottle @ Slovak tasting 08/2019. Medium, tan, quick gone head. Colour is dark brown hazy. Aroma is rich malty, caramel, bit wine, sherry, woody, chocolate. Taste is medium to full malty base, woody, caramel, herbal, chocolate, very nice balanced bitterness, good one, enjoyed.

Bottle at a tasting. Very rich and very intense. Lots of everything. Warming with pleasant alcohol. Initially sweetish with chocolate and caramel, quickly turning bitter with deep roast, ash, slightly burnt too, also wood, but the barrel character not coming through clean for me. Very good still.
