Endelig RBHD-samling igjen, og denne gangen ombord på Fridtjofen. 0,33 flaske: brunsvart med storboblet skum som varer. Overmodne bjørnebær, einerkvister, nytraktet kaffe, lakris og bitre urter. Vanligvis er jeg begeistret for baltiske portere, men denne gir meg ikke noe særlig.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 28.06.19. Dark brown. Pale brown head and lacing. Aroma and taste of cigar box, pine, juniper, liquorice and bitterness.

Barwa ciemna, piana koloru beżowego oblepia szkło. W aromacie wyraźne nuty beczkowe, lekka wanilia do tego dochodzą nuty beczkowe, gorzka czekolada oraz przede wszystkim rodzynki. W smaku nuty bardzo podobne do tych z aromatu. Alkohol przez długie leżakowanie świetnie się ułożył i uszlachetnił. Gorycz na niskim poziomie, wręcz słodycz tutaj króluje. Nasycenie na niskim poziomie. Mój Baltic Porter Day 2019.

Nearly black, small and lacing beige head. Aroma has rich malt, prunes, raw licorice and wood. Sweet flavour, raw licorice, some choclate, quite a lot of raw licorice. Has a very oxydised flavour. Sherry flavours are evident but not really that balanced. Still quite powerful though...

33 cl. botlle @ Viva la PINTA, Kraków. Black with a small tan head. Roasted malts with some sherry notes. Taste is sweet with loads of oak undertones. Texture is smooth, low carbonation. Bit unbalanced but enjoyable.

Dark brown. Aroma is smoky plums, soy sauce, a little roast, melasses, not very complex, a bit fishy. Taste is bitter hops and bitter soy sauce, sweet melasses, not very balanced. Interesting. Maybe good if you like fish sauce. Too heavy. Meh.

Bottle. Soapy wood notes, perfumed. Murky brown, low head. Pretty woody, soy sauce, rough barrel, some old wood sourness, smoke, oyster shells, umami, medium light body, dry, soapy hops and wood sugar retronasal. Old wood sticking on the palate in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is light chocolate, light roast, oloroso, burnt wood. Taste is a touch umami, chocolate, burnt wood, very bitter hoppy finish. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation, dry finish. Quite rough, and a bit unbalanced.
