Keg at Warsaw Beer Festival, 07/04/17. Clear golden amber with an off white to beige cap. Nose is tarte fruit esters, spruce, wood must, white wine barrel, sticky fruit pudding. Taste comprises stoned fruits, grape must, bitter sweet notes, light citric flash, stale bread, grains, light yeast esters. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost offered. Fun stuff but ultimately lacks some depth ABV considered.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours deep golden with a slight haze and hardly any head at all. Nose is interesting, thick and sweet honey, overripe plums - bordering rotten. Rich, thick and almost syrupy body - mostly reminds me of mead. Very complex flavour, noble rot mixing up with the wooden barrel. Sweet, but not cloyingly so. Has a hint of tartness. But again, I miss some carbonation to drive the flavors. But super interesting. 270617

Draft glass at Warszawski Festiwal Piwa’17 - day 1, split with 77ships.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje! Sampled draft @ Warsaw Beer Festival Spring 2017. Dark orange tea amber appearance, little tanned head. Nose is cough syrup, thick herbal cough syrup wine. Taste is very vinous cough syrup, thick oily cough syrup, thick nearly medicinal cough syrup. Rich brew, interesting almost cloying cough syrup wine sipper. Kind of the antithesis of saison but quite tasty all the same.

Keg at the Warsaw beer fest 2017. 07/04/2017. A clear amber copper coloured pour with no head . Aroma is sweet and sticky apple cake, boozy, bruised apple, toffee cake. Flavour is composed of super sweet, sticky fudge cake, dried fruits, raisin, cakey. Palate is medium sweet, lowish carbonation, sticky. Decent barley wine, bad saison.

Keg at the Warsaw craft beer fest. Pours clear orange-gold with a bubbly, thin head. Some esters in the nose, wood, raw alcohol, caramel. Heavy sweet flavour with lots of honey, butterscotch, vanilla, some wood, golden raisins, dates. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with soft carbonation. Warming finish, sugary, with more raisin, caramel, some berries, bread. Pretty fun stuff, actually, in a small pour kind of way.
