A traditional DIPA with a gobsmackingly fruity twist. It's all about the juiciness that goes on and on, but not without a good dose of bitterness. You get tropical fruit and tangerines from Galaxy, spikes of lemon from Centennial, lime from Motueka all set against a piney Simcoe hop backbone. Sweet but punchy, unassumingly bitter and exceptionally smooth, this beer is liquid candy, the ultimate treat.

Bottle split at Hackney Levels, thanks to Dave, 08/06/17. Golden orange with a light hazed topped with a decent off white head. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, orange pith, light pine. Taste comprises light minerality, malt forward, caramel, spice, tangerine, grapefruit. Medium + body, fine carbonation, drying close with a rising boost. Average for style ... old skool vibes and doesnt really come together.

Bottle at LKS. It pours hazy deep gold with a small white head. The aroma is juicy, loads of very ripe fruits, mango, apricot, marmalade, green, grassy, dank and candy. The taste is smooth, mellow bitterness, bready, biscuit, boozy, earthy, leather, spice, raw alcohol, bread with a warming and hot finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Smells good, but taste is a bit flat.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Dave. Pours hazy, orange-gold with a frothy, white head. Ripening citrus in the nose, a little spicy pine, wood, dry pale malts. Medium sweet flavour, with some alcohol kick, pine, crispy pale malts, minerals, grass, orange rind. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, resinous, more orange rind, piney bitterness. Not very graceful, or especially expressive.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Very hazy, slightly murky, dark gold. Thin, lasting, leggy, white head. Nose has sappy pine. Orange cordial. Marmalade cake. Some buttery malts. If something could smell sticky, this is it. Taste is really sweet and marmalade like. Big, sappy bitterness to follow. Syrupy mouthfeel too. It doesn’t necessarily feel the ABV, though. Long, sticky, resinous bitterness to finish. I did enjoy this, despite all my teeth melting.
