Bottle from Colmado l’estuca, Girona, Spain 2017. Pours anbiy thin, black withna small light brown head. Aroma of coffee, dark malts, roasted, toasted, licorice, vanilla. Taste is smooth, strong, roasted malts, ash, cacao powder, dark chocolate, alcohol, vanilla, laurel, firm, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, nice one .

Bottle from Systembolaget. Black with a lasting, beige head. Light roasted aroma with a light smokey note to it. Some salty liquorice and dark chocolate. Quite roasty, light peated taste with loads of liquorice and salmiak, a bit of dark chocolate. Astringent, bitter, liquorice finish. Too much liqourice for me.

deep dark brown colour, moderate sized beige-ish head; aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and herbal liqueur notes; taste of licorice, plum jam made from unripe plum, some coffee and dark chocolate mousse; great imperial stout

Bottle at the beerlovers bar 1st anniversary party. Thnx to Eugene for sharing. Pours black, small white head. Smell is roasted, bit sweet by the malts. Taste is bit sweet, coffee, dark Sugar. mild roast. Touch bitterness. OK

Thanks! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Beerlovers Bar. Black, small deep mocha head. Nose is basic umami, molasses, syrup, licorice. Licroice syrup body. Basic old school UK stout licorice, umami, sugar, sryup, herbal mocha taste. Solid but a bit too plain licorice & umami tasting for me.

Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2017. Pitch black with a thin, lightly tanned head. Roasted aroma with caramel, coffee, roasted malts, licorice, herbal roasted notes, honey and dark fruits. Taste is sweet-roasted. Full bodied. Finishes dry and fruity roasted.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Dry and roasted, caramelish and roasted malty. Sweet and lingeribg dark malty. Dry, dark malty and roasted finish.

Deep cola-coloured to black beer with a good tan head. Sweet-roasted, roasted coffee, meatroast, soy sauce, ketjap manis. Bit of sulphur, H²S even. Very roasted to burnt flavour, harsh liquorice, burnt nuts. Roast is so overpowering that not much can come out. Dryish MF, rather well-bodied, feels well carbonated. Roast until the very finish. Ho-hum stout. Exists much better.
