0.33l blue can, maybe this one? Will investigate. Enormous thanks Daichi for bringing it from Shanghai and sharing it! Vaguely hazy golden body, fleeting head. Bit dusty, minerally aroma, simple. Lean, dry taste, low rice, residual sweetness, traces of hops, some minerals, vaguely oniony in the end. Highly inoffensive, highly chuggable, but not terribly enjoyable.

2/11/2024. Can on Air China flight 937 from Beijing to LHR. Poured into a classy Air China paper cup. Pour was frothy pale gold. Aroma is grainy, corn, light citrus, grass, cardboard. Very sweet with low bitterness. Light bodied, watery, fizzy. Sweet soapy finish. Not very good.

Yanjing Beer 11 4% On an Air China flight, the aroma was grainy sweet and floral/herbal hops. Light bodied and gassy. The taste is similar to the aroma and just comes off as a decent macro-brew, I was surprised. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Yellow, fizzy, artificial head. aroma of wet grains, sour apples. Tastes more of plastic, vague malt. Fairly thin. Tastes better than it smells but it’s pretty swilly.

Can 50 cl. Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of brewing cereal. Light body, only the slightest maltiness but quite some cardboard. Very subdued hops. At least not offensive - and had it been served cold in the Great Hall of the People it probably even would’ve been enjoyable. 030312

[Canned] Pale yellow, very brief head. Aroma of apple juice, plum brandy and rice. Sweetish and light bodied with rounded soapy mouthfeel. Sugar and a hint of vegetables, otherwise nothing. Less offensive than most Yanjing beers. Oh to drink this in the Great Hall of the People...
