750ml bottle as #26. Slightly hazy dark golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet malt. Flavor is like a medium bodied strong English ale with extra hops. This beer is more complex than the first impression. Some kind of fruit, some caramel and sweet malty, a bit spicy and alcohol. Quite nice.

[Bøgedal nr. 52] A hazy orange beer with a huge creamy off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity both with oranges and peaches, but also some yeast and a bit rustic barn yard. The flavor is sweet malty with some grainy notes combined with strong fruity notes; oranges giving it a bit of citrusy acidity, which again lends the beer a freshness that balances the quite heavy malty body. Somewhere along the way, it also has this characteristic rustic farm yard ale flavor. The end has light notes of hops, and is quite dry.

[Bøgedal nr. 35] A hazy light orange with a off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and quite floral. The flavor is sweet and quite spicy with notes of barn yard and elderberry flowers. The alcohol only makes its presence known in the aftertaste, where it stays around and gives a warmin sensation in the tongue.
Earlier Rating: 12/7/2005 Total Score: 3.2
[Bøgedal nr. 28] A hazy orange beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet yeasty and spicy - with notes of coriander. The flavor is sweet and very fruity - especially oranges, as well as notes of straw and barn yard. The alcohol makes its presence known by a slight bite.
Earlier Rating: 5/25/2005 Total Score: 2.5
[Bøgedal nr. 26] An unclear orange beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy combined with notes of peach. The flavor is primarily spicy with a dry end. A boring flavor.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Fruity, lightly citrusy nose. Full and solid body with distinct alcoholic notes and a rather bitter finish. 130806

(Bottle 75 cl) Slightly hazy pilsener golden with a tiny, white head. A bit low in carbonation. Vaguely fruity nose. Full-bodied albeit the 8.5% ABV is scaringly well hidden. Lightly perfumy and very fruity flavours dominating this brew. Short, dry finish. Quite a lovely Bøgedal. 260106

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy amber with a creamy, off-white head. Sweetish, malty aroma with a wee, floral touch. Soft mouthfeel with some sweet malt and notes of honey. Not that different from the 31. 151105

(Bottle 75 cl) Dark amber colour, slightly hazy with a small, creamy, off-white head. Huge bottle sediment. Very malty with distinct fruity notes from the yeast. Weak toffee notes. Yet rather dry with a very bitter finish. Perhaps the most bitter Bøgedal I’ve had so far. Quite interesting. 180605
Earlier Rating: 8/23/2005 Total Score: 3.4
(Bottle 75 cl) Light brown, very unclear, bubbly carbonation - odd. Typical fruity esters - notes of banana. Quite sweetish and very full-bodied with distinct notes of caramel. I detect a lot of Belgian inspiration here. Very classical Bøgedal. 210405

Bottled. Hazy amber. Flowery with loads of caramelized sugar. Very sweet with lots of butterscotch and some vegetables. Obvious homebrew character.
