Draft sample courtesy of 77ships @ Brewdog bar Warzawa. Brune foncée, col beige. Arôme au nez bien malté, caramel avec des essences de toffee, malt presque crystal, fruits noirs. Palais est malté, caramel, touche de chocolat amer, toffee avec une petite douceur, sucre brun et encore une douceur devenant persistante sur la fin. Impression de fruits confits.

Tasting glass draft @ Brewdog Warszawa. Dark brown going to black, little tanned head. Nose is raisin cookies, umami sweet, caramel, malt, low gravy, interesting mix between those two elements. Taste-wise the sweet raisin cookie, caramel dominates, nicely sweet vanilla, sugar, umami is very faint in the back. Body is caramel, cookie, vanilla. This is how Brown Ale’s should be like, all sweet cookies & caramel.

Keg at BrewDog Warsaw. Pours mostly clear golden-brown with a small, creamy topping. The nose has some well toasted bread, brown sugar, toasted grains and graham cracker. Medium sweet flavour with more toasted grains, toffee, jammy citrus, mellow piney bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish, lightly warming, with more gooey citrus, oily pine, roastted frackers. Just OK overall.

Keg at Brewdog Warsaw. A clouded nut brown coloured pour with a fine tan head aroma is sweet, madeira cake, rum and raisin, sweet brown sugars, malty. Flavour is composed of swet nutty malts, brown sugars, maple, toffee,.. Palate is medium sweet highish carbonation, semi drying finish., pretty good.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Bruna, schiuma avorio media. Al naso sentori di nocciole in polvere, cacao, miele di castagno. In bocca è mediamente dolce con nota etilica media, leggero amarognolo sul finale. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Buona.
