Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a huge foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of floral hops is very intense with a nice light caramel malt base. Taste is a mix between some floral notes from the hops with a medium bitter finish and all of this is well sustained by nice light caramel malt base. Definitely an interesting take on US style of beer from an European brewer.

Beautiful hazy amber color, with a huge head. The aroma shows some soap character, and some of the typical BFM tartness. It has a good body, with some malt flavor, quite strong bitterness, some yeast, almost corky, light fruitness. I guess it may have changed from the description on the bottle; today is only a good beer.

Cloudy golden color; creamy head. Controversial aroma: resiny and fruity hops, malt, oak sourness, rubber... Nothing wins over the other. Medium-weak flavor, harsh malt flavor, quite high bitterness, some coriander, bitter oranges. Not bad, but confused.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Bov. Pours a hazy golden with a small, off-white head. Slightly leathery, bitter aroma. Medium body with sweetish, pale malts. Very bitter, astringent and leathery hop notes. Slightly earthy and Fantôme-like, which isn’t overly positive in my book. 021107

From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 25. Pours hazy orange with a dense white head. Peach fruity aroma and a bit spiced. Flavour is soft malty with a slight spiced note. Slight woody and dry bitterness breaking the soft and light sweet malt base. Ends with a slight nutty note in the soft caramel malt flavour. Decent bitterness in the far finish.

Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of spices as well as some hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices and hops, leading to a dry rather than bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottled (Thanks Bov!). Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is slight conifer woods, juniper, yeast, sourness, hops and caramel malts. Flavour is spices, hops and some slight notes of alcohol. Aftertaste is mainly dry hops. Very wellbalanced and spicy.

Bottled 75 cl (vintage 2006)
Dark honey color, small steady white head, lace. Leather, lemon, hops and blackcurrant in the nose. Woody hoppy, strong ale - lemony and strange as an IPA but good. Long hoppy finish.
