Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head - not very pale. The aroma has strong notes of grassy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and grass, as well as light notes of lemon, leading to a medium bitter finish. Light hop level for calling it an IPA.

Draft at the brewpub. Citrus (grapefruit) aroma. Light amber color with a white head that departed rapidly. Near medium body with mild "English" carbonation. A very floral flavor. Almost medicinal (herbs and flowers?). Malt arrives at the end. The finish is puckerish and floral, though the bitter seems quite mild. Very good. Very underrated?

Draft. Clear light golden with a big white head. Very little aroma. Fruity hop flavor with a lingering bitterness (I’ve also had this with almost no hop flavor so inconsistencies abound). Touch of caramel. Easy drinking.

Clear golden coloured body with a very thin white head and orange tints. Aroma of strong citrus & grapefruit hops with a nice malt presence. Medium-bodied; Strong hops up front, then fades fast to some citrus sweetness and malt. Aftertaste shows a bit of caramel, but mostly malt. Overall, a nice IPA-great to try! It’s nice to be back in the USA and find beers like these. I sampled this pint from draught at the San Francisco Brewing Company in downtown San Francisco, California on the second day of 10-June-2004...our first was spent in Sydney, Australia.
