Draft @ Caulier 28. Brune, col beige.

Sampled draft @ Bar Dynamo. Thanks to Kraddel! Dark brown amber, little tanned head. Nose is metallic wet dough, leaves, bark, soggy grains,... Faint smoke metallic, soap, sugar, candy,... Soapy metallic body. Another Eight Degrees for which I didn’t really care.

Tap at dynamo. Pours very dark brown with an amber glow, ok white head. Smell is bitter, yeast, hazelnuts, too sharp and yeasty though. Taste is full, bitter, roasted malts, roasted hazelnuts, bit yeasty, wattery mf and high carbo. Ok

Bottle shared by Beersiveknown @ tasting at his place. Huge thanks Steve! Brown color, red glare coming through, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightlightly smoke and a bit earthy and metallic, lightly sweet and only a hint of bitter as well as a hint of pepper in the finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle from O’Briens’s, Athlone [090117]
Dark brown, tan head
Aroma - Light toasted malts, brown leaves, hint of meaty smoke
Taste of toasted malts, smoked malt (not too smoky), bit woody, some spicy ness, dab of toffee, quite tasty, malts a bit lacking in depth
Palate - Medium carb and body. Finish a bit dry, light bitter, as main flavour
Overall - Not bad at all, not too smoky which is good, nice to see a malty beer for a change

Draught at Brewdock. Murky brown with a solid off white head. Aroma of chocolate malt. Flavour is smoky malt, a little bacon on brown sugar. Bitter nut finish, nice smoke beer.
