At a tasting, thanks Shahar,small stable head, clear light rusty colour, aroma of pine and grapefruit, medium herbal bitterness with some bready nutty malt to balance, and hay, sour bitter aftertaste.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Shachar. Beer of the Month club. Clear deep golden. Aroma of pine, some candy-ish notes and citrus. A balanced flavor with some slightly grainy sweetish malt and a pleasant, lingering, fruity bitterness in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Draught at Oliver twist, Stockholm. Clear ambr, small head. Mid-intensit lychee aroma. Sweetish with rock hard crystal mlt character. Medium bodied with primitive, harsh malt profile and biter grapefruity finish with some aluminium. The harshnesss of the malt renders it edgy and non-refreshing with poor drinkability. The nice hops is just perfume on something non-attractive.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 13 March 2010) Amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, apricots and grass. Malty, fruity taste with grainy malt, citrus and apricots. Slightly grassy hops in a moderately bitter finish. Medium body. Not overly exciting, but well made and refreshing.

12oz bottle-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is sweet pine/citrus hops. Taste is somewhat bitter pine/herbal hops, some light malt. Thanks jwc215&dmac for picking this out.

Pours a reddish orange body and it has a white foamy head. Hoppy and very slightly fruity aroma. Slightly sweet taste of malts in there. A good, but light hop flavor that makes the beer both flavorful and refreshing. I like it.

Bouteille 12 oz, courtoisie de Hogtownharry. De couleur orange-ambrée et légèrement voilée. Nez de houblon floral et légèrement citrique (pamplemousse) et aux notes résineuses, malté de caramel doux et de biscuits au miel ainsi que fruité (agrumes et abricots). Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture aux petites notes résineuses et crémeuses. Goût moyennement amer de houblon assez floral et léger-moyen citrique (pamplemousse, présent toute la gorgée) accompagné d’un goût fruité (abricots, agrumes sucrées) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté sucré de caramel doux ainsi qu’un moyen goût de biscuits au miel puis en finale l’on assiste à un regain d’amertume de houblon plus asséchante, légèrement résineuse et aux notes herbeuses (herbe fraîche). Post-goût long et plutôt sec, moyennement amer de houblon floral, citrique et légèrement résineux avec des notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes).

Bottle courtesy of Hogtownharry: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of medium bitter hops is dominating. Taste is dominated but medium bitter and slightly citrus hops with some subtle malt. Well done overall but also doesn’t really provide anything spectacular.

TAP- Clody pale ale, with very nice hops in nose. Lighter in bodied, lacking some malts, and maybe overcabonated.

Great colour and a very large pale white head. Great hoppy smell full of the other APA characters. A defintely full flavoured beer full of hop characters. A really balanced APA which anyone should definately try! Tasted at MacGregor's on Tap in Rochester, New York.
