  Farmhouse - Imperial Saison Special
Score
7.15
ABV: 9.0% IBU: - Ticks: 32

Keg at CBC Clerkoooo, 14/07/15. Hazed orange golden with a decent light beige covering. Nose is apricot, farmyard, citric peel, straw, bitter orange, light spice. Taste comprises light booze, straw, tangerine, apricot, sticky fruit peel, bread. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent hopped oop Belgo affair.

Keg at Craft Clerko thanks to Cloin. It pours hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is soft, fresh, limey, gooseberry, grapefruit, juicy orange and brioche. The taste is bitter, rather boozy, zesty, juicy, plenty of citrus rind, spicy notes, cracker, cereal and gooseberry with a dry finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Decent, but I found this a bit rough around the edges tbo.

Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Mild floral bitterness. Some nettley spice. Mild citrus. Modestly bitter light finish. You can tell it’s the big brother. Everything is the same but amped up.

Courtesy of Daniele; 9% ABV; bb 31.07.16, batch 364.14
Cloudy blond color with generous head. True to its name, the aroma is truly zesty; notes of tropical fruit, calamansi, but also spices (pink pepper, mace) and herbs (peppermint); a vortex of feelings. Good body strength, the mouthfeel is lean, hence very drinkable; delicate malts leave the stage to a citrusy/zesty hopping and pungent yeast spices, with a piquant final.
Intriguing, excellent creation.
