A deeply flavourful amber ale brewed with ‘Munich’ malt for a full body, a little aromatic malt (for, er, its smell) and a combination of spicy Kent and fruity west coast hops. Thoroughly enjoyable Summer Ale.

Cask at the Ravensgate Arms, Ramsgate on 6th August 2022. Clear amber with off-white foam and full lacing. Hazelnut maltiness in aroma. Nutty and fruity in-mouth, and a richly nutty finish. Smooth mouthfeel and plenty of body.

As "Ramsgate Summers Day". Clear amber color, small off-white head. Woody, earthy hops with hints of caramel. Light-bodied. Caramel, grassy flavor. Clean, sessionable but not very interesting.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 12 Sep 2014) Golden amber colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots, citrus and biscuity malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of apricots, orange peel, toasty malty and a certain citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Almost clear deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth, semi dry. Fine carbonation. Nice light malts. Good marmalade hops, little lemon and a touch of floralness. Light finish. Standard stuff done well.

Cask@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Golden colour, not too much head. Aroma is fruits, mild earth, zest, bready malts as well as some slight herbal notes. Flavour is rather similar with also some slight doughy and yeasty notes. Probably close to finish of the cask.

Cask handpull at Green Berry, Deal. Munich malts and Kent grown Cascade hops in this. Reddish amber colour with thin off white head. Not a huge amount of Cascades, a hint of them on the end. Quite earthy hop. Malts are reasonably fruity. Quite a heavy beer. Lacks a bit of condition maybe. Interesting kind of candy sugar sweetness and then this growing Cascade finish. Interesting. By the end of the pint I thought I could detect same meat/pate flavour. 3.3/5 Re rate lovely piney grapefruit great condition. Good.
