Bottle at the Night of Garbage, big thanks to Leighton, 20/12/13 up his shit load of stairs ! Hazed golden yellow with a moderate off white head that clears to edgeing and spotting. Nose is pale malts, grass, sugars, cereal, light citric notes. Taste comprises pale malt, paper, sugars, cereal, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy finale. Mediocre offering, would have guessed this was a pale lager, little in the way of what you’d expect from a Hefeweizen!

The (not so) shit beer tasting at Leightons stratospheric flat. Very hazy gold beer, small white head. Light and minerally crisp palate. Dry pale malts, good tangy dried fruits. Light dry finish. Passes muster.

Bottle shared at the Night of Garbage. I got this one in Baja, Mexico.pours lightly hazy gold with a slight, creamy white head. Sugary and doughy malts in the nose, some grains, hay. Medium sweet flavor, sugary wheat, hay, some grains. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary wheat finish, grains, hay, white bread, white sugar. Very simple.

Bottled, from La Belga, Mexico City. Hazy golden, rich creamy head. Citric nose with some banana. Mid sweet with light body and well rounded mouthfeel. Lots of tangerine, slight cloves. Low bitterness. Interesting and refreshing twist on the style.

Bottle Pours cloudy amber with a small off-white creamy head that dissipates slowly but with minimal lacing. Aroma is of wheat, citrus, and yeast. Taste is medium sweet wheat and strong acidic citrus lemon and orange. Finish is quite bitter and citrusy; like orange rind. Too much citrus for my palate.
