Bottle at home. Dark mahogany with dark beige head that leaves a lasting film. Quite some sherry, old blackberries, light dust, balsamico, oxidized notes, soft roast and even a bit of licorice. Some nice fruits and malts, but it gets a weird in the finish. Medium sweet, sour and bitter. Over medium bodied with a bit flat oily feel, low carbonation. Not a huge succes for me.

(375ml 2016 bottle from a webshop now forgotten) Pours mahogany to black with a small but lasting cream cap. Aroma is vinous, tannic and tart, sweet grapes and golden raisins, sherry, soft cherry, quite oaky, nutty oxidation, some sweet malt. Flavour has a bit of a sweet light caramel core, lots of vinous notes; fresh grapes, raisins, stewed paler fruits, sherry, oak, nutty oxidized notes, heavy tannin, dusty light toasty roast, dry tannic finish, light bitterness, a bit thin overall. Relatively light bodied with effervescent bottle-conditioned-type carb, no real sense of ABV. Not bad in flavour at all but it's a little bit thin and lacking in richness to supplement the flavour. Pretty solid but not really more.

Clear deep amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Mellow thin malts, a trace of dark character. Light sourness, more of a tang really. Trace of wood. Sherry soaked ripe fruits, not that sweet thanks to the tangy backdrop. A very mild gueuze vibe. Light finish. Comes together well, pretty easy drinking.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Aroma is quite tannic, with lots of sherry barrels, tannins, dark fruits, and a touch of tartness. Flavour is very complex, with tart dark fruits, some balsamic, lots of tannins, and woody sherry barrels. Tannic and very complex. Lovely stuff.
