Bottle from the lcbo. Hazy yellow pour, small white head. Lots of wheat in the aroma with a solid amount of sour, and tartness. Light citrus, some grass, some light yeast. Good carb and mouthfeel, tart finish, some citrus zest. Didn’t have much of a savory saltiness, tastes like a basic Berliner.

Tap at Barhop Brewco, Toronto. Sampled July 2016. Pours straw yellow with a slim white cap. Aroma: lemon, apple, hints of coriander spice. Taste: lemon and apple tartness with a light fruity and malty sweetness and a spicy coriander finish. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nice.

Can 473ml (Beer Republic, 5.2 %)
Golden colour, small white head. Wheaty, tartish nose. Light-bodied. Kettle sourish type sourness, green apple, lime. Not much salt found. Feels very old. Can't prove as importer has (for this reason?) put a sticky sticker to cover BB-date (can read only 10 JUN).

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Paul. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and has decent fine minerally carbonation. Fresh tasting light malts and fairly fresh citrus make for a bright start. Just a mild savoury vibe reminds that this is a Gose. Light floral finish. A bright and breezy Gose.

473ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, white head. Salty spicy, tart-ish aroma, hints of salted lemon. Taste is sweet-ish malty, wheaty, fruity, slightly salty, a fruit acidic tart touch, hints of mirabelle, nectarine, lemon. Nicely refreshing, unusual, flattering sweetness guarantees high drinkability.

Hazy dark blond colour. Aroma and flavour have some bitter citrusy orange peel. Sharp and tangy too.

Can shared in London - thanks to Paul. Pours clear yellow with a slight, foamy white head. The nose holds tangy lemon, a little wheat bread. Light sweet flavour with steady lemony acidity, some hay, lemonade. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Pretty clean finish, lightly drying, with more lemon, mild salty bite, good tartness. Solid gose.

Can at L42. It pours golden with a small white head. The aroma is salty, tangy, preserved lemon, bread and cracker. The taste is crisp, dry, tart lemon, sherbet, salted lemon, minerals, decent mouth - pucker and some herbal notes with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Simple, but quaffable gose.
