Can from the brewery. Clear amber pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is biscuity, crackery, with some resinous pine and hints if citrus zest. Grassy, malty, hints of soft citrus. A nice easy drinking pale ale, an american/British hybrid. Nice stuff.

On tap at Tooth and Nail, pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma is pretty old school in the hop department, with some bitter piney hops and dry bready caramel malt in true English fashion. Flavour is much the same, with old school, bittering hops, a little pine cone, and English bready malt. Clean and crisp, so it's well-made but not all that interesting.

Can: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of sweet cereal notes with light floral notes is OK. Taste is a mix of sweet cereal notes with floral undertones is refreshing. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but limited amount of complexity with a tad too much residual sugar.

First visit to the brewery tonight. Pours a cloudy light-golden colour with a foamy off-white head, average stay and not much lacing. Wheat aromas that give out bananas notes and hints of bubblegum. Other sweetness added by the Belgian Ale yeast. The taste starts off the same, but some bitterness kicks in the middle. Some light oranges, pepper notes. Not a bad little twist on a witbier.

Keg at Tooth and Nail, Ottawa. Clear pale amber, small head. Floral canteloupe and caramel up front. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Fruity and lightly caramelly. Some wet hay. Mid bitter finish. Too hard malt profile.

Can from the brewery. Orange-gold color with a light beige head and a sweet malty aroma supplemented by citrus hop notes. Well balanced between hops and malts. It won’t wow but it will sure as hell satisfy those looking for a pale ale of a slightly maltier bent.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with light resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light grassy floral hops , light grapefruit notes, nice pale ale and first offering from this new Ottawa brewery. On tap at Brother’s Beer Bistro.
