Great looking brown pour. Aroma of cloves, slight banana, spices, Rye, and some smoke. The weizen yeast really created a weissse flavor profile, but it mingles well with the light fruit and spicy smokiness from the rye. I’m really diggin this!

A reddish copper beer with a thick collapsing moka head. In aroma, nice cinnamon malt aroma, with light caramel, cloves and fruity esters. In mouth, a smooth nutty beer with light roasted nuts, fruity esters, some light acidity, medium bodied, not bad. Bottle from LCBO.

Sample at the Beer ’N Rock Band tasting on 08/27/2010: Bottle courtesy of a traveling colleague. The beer is a clear copper-orange color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly. Top ring of lacing with short strings underneath. Aroma of tropical fruits and caramel. Medium body with flavors of mild hops, herbs, fruit and malt. The finish is sweet with a light spice and malt aftertaste. Decent all around.

Pours a slightly hazy copper colour with a beautiful big creamy off-white head that has great retention and thick layered lacing. Mild spicy nose with some cereal malt scent and notes of bananas. Wet and a tad creamy mouthfeel. A good balance between the rye and the weizen yeast, creating a refreshing weizen-tasting beer.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of lightly sweet malt with light spicy undertones is quite pleasant. Taste is also dominated by lightly sweet caramel malt with light notes of spices. Body has a somewhat creamy texture which is really enjoyable with good carbonation. Easily drinkable with a nice taste profile. Probably one of the best beer I tried from this brewer.
