Pours a clean amber colour with a caramel hue. Foamy-creamy beige head, long retention and foamy thick lacing. Gets hazy at second pour. Toasted malts with caramel notes and hops. Hints of blueberries. The fruits are also way too mild in the taste to call it a blueberry beer. Roasted and caramel malts in the flavours showing a decent IPA. The bitterness is quite nice for this style in the finish. Grassy hops in all. A nice IPA with minimal blueberry action.

Cask at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Clear mahogany colour, quite rich head. Grapefruity nose with mild blueberry sweetness. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Gentle bready malt, grapefruit, hay and blueberries. Mid bitter finish. Really nice.

Brown bottle, 75o ml, purchased at Broue Ha Ha, savoured on December 7 2016; eye: mahogany, semi-opaque, no effervescence, sheet of beige head that turns into a ring, light lacing; nose: acridness of small berries, light malt, caramel, slight fruity; mouth: acridness of small berries, malt, slight fruity, caramel, finale in unpleasant acridness, medium body, mildly sweet, lightly harsh texture; overall: not for me FRANÇAIS Bouteille olive, 750 ml, achetée chez Broue Ha Ha, savourée le 7 décembre 2016; œil : acajou, semi-opaque, pas d’effervescence, couverture de mousse beige qui se transforme en un anneau, légère dentelle; nez : âcreté de petits fruits, léger malt, caramel, très léger fruité; bouche : âcreté de petits fruits, malt, très léger fruité, caramel, finale en âcreté déplaisante, corps moyen, moyennement sucrée, texture très légèrement râpeuse; en résumé : pas pour moi

A dark red grapeskins ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light blueberry, light floral hops, light sulfur, OK. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light blueberry, light sulfur notes, OK. On tap at Festibière de Laval 2016.
